Hongruntong Marine's Underwater Air Lift Bags are precision-engineered buoyancy devices designed for safe and efficient lifting, refloating, and underwater transportation of heavy marine structures. Constructed from high-tensile, reinforced PVC-coated polyester fabric, these lift bags deliver superior strength, flexibility, and abrasion resistance in harsh marine environments.
Each lift bag is equipped with over-pressure valves, stainless steel fittings, and multi-point lifting straps to ensure balanced buoyancy distribution. The design supports both open-bottom and enclosed types, suitable for lifting sunken vessels, underwater structures, and subsea pipelines. The buoyancy range covers 1 ton to 50 tons, customizable to meet specific salvage or diving project needs.
In 2024, Hongruntong Marine collaborated with a Singapore-based salvage contractor to refloat a 22-meter fishing vessel that had sunk in shallow waters near Tuas Port. The operation used eight 15-ton Underwater Air Lift Bags arranged symmetrically along the hull.
Divers attached the lift bags to pre-installed lifting points, and compressed air was carefully introduced in stages to maintain balance and prevent sudden buoyant shifts. Within four hours, the vessel achieved neutral buoyancy and was safely towed to the dockyard.
Despite rough current conditions, Hongruntong's reinforced seams and precision pressure-control valves prevented leakage or instability. The client highlighted the quick setup, stability, and reusability of the equipment, which saved over 30% operational time compared to conventional lift systems.

The lift bags are constructed from heavy-duty PVC-coated polyester with tensile strength exceeding 5000 N/5 cm. The material resists abrasion, puncture, and UV degradation, ensuring consistent performance in seawater and hydraulic conditions.
Each bag includes reinforced webbing harnesses with stainless steel D-rings and shackles, providing secure load distribution. The system allows controlled inflation and lifting, reducing torsion and drift underwater.
Hongruntong lift bags feature automatic over-pressure relief valves, high-flow inflation ports, and one-way check valves compatible with standard diving air systems. These features guarantee operational safety and ease of maintenance.
Each air lift bag is lightweight, foldable, and easy to transport. Reusable up to 200 cycles, it supports both vertical and horizontal lifting configurations, maximizing adaptability for complex salvage operations.
