Boat Lift Helper is a versatile marine lifting system designed to provide reliable buoyancy assistance for underwater lifting, vessel positioning, and flotation support. It plays a crucial role in marine operations where controlled lifting and stability are required, including shipyard maintenance, port services, offshore construction, and marine salvage activities.
The system is manufactured using high-strength PVC-coated synthetic fabric that offers exceptional durability and resistance to harsh marine environments. The reinforced structure ensures high tensile strength and reliable buoyancy performance even when exposed to repeated heavy lifting operations.
A commercial harbor in Northern Europe experienced an incident where a 16-meter harbor service workboat partially flooded and sank at its berth due to a mechanical failure in the bilge pump system. The vessel weighed approximately 25 tons and settled on the harbor floor at a depth of around 4 meters.
Because the incident occurred in a narrow docking area, bringing in a large crane was impractical. Harbor authorities decided to deploy Boat Lift Helper systems to perform a controlled refloating operation.
Divers installed several units along both sides of the vessel's hull. Special attention was given to distributing the lifting force evenly to avoid hull stress during the lifting process. After the installation was completed, compressed air was gradually introduced into the systems.
