It uses controlled water filling to generate a predetermined testing load, providing a practical method for applications where conventional steel or concrete test weights are difficult to transport, position, store, or adjust.

The system is designed around the principle of converting a measured quantity of water into a controlled temporary load, allowing the testing team to establish progressive loading conditions according to the approved engineering procedure. The main body is manufactured from high-strength PVC or reinforced PVC-coated fabric selected for water containment, tensile performance, flexibility, and resistance to normal industrial handling.
Case Study: Water Weight Bag Testing for a Deck Crane
A commercial shipyard in South Korea was completing commissioning work on a newly installed deck crane fitted to a 38,000 DWT bulk carrier. The crane had a rated lifting capacity of approximately 40 tons and was scheduled for final operational verification before the vessel was released for service.
