A coastal shipyard in western Turkey successfully launched a 3,600 ton general cargo vessel using Marine Rubber Airbags. The vessel was fabricated on a reinforced shore-side construction area approximately 20 meters from available water access. The shipyard lacked conventional fixed slipway infrastructure suitable for the completed vessel.

The airbags were positioned beneath the hull according to planned support spacing, with inflation performed progressively while monitoring vessel support conditions.
