Boat Lift Helper is a professional marine buoyancy support system engineered to assist in underwater lifting, vessel stabilization, and controlled flotation operations. It is widely used in shipyards, ports, offshore construction projects, and marine salvage operations where reliable buoyant lifting force is required to support vessels or heavy marine structures.
The system is manufactured using high-strength industrial PVC-coated polyester fabric, which offers excellent resistance to mechanical stress, seawater corrosion, ultraviolet exposure, and abrasion from rough surfaces. Its structural design ensures uniform pressure distribution and stable buoyancy performance even under demanding underwater conditions.
A coastal marina in Southern Europe required a reliable method to lift a 22-meter passenger sightseeing boat for underwater hull maintenance. The vessel had a displacement of approximately 45 tons and required inspection for propeller damage and hull fouling after an extended operating season.
Traditionally, the marina relied on a travel lift crane to remove vessels from the water. However, during peak tourism season, crane availability was limited, and scheduling delays could disrupt the operator's business operations.
To solve this problem, the marina deployed several Boat Lift Helper units positioned strategically along the hull of the vessel. Divers secured the lifting systems at reinforced points beneath the hull structure. Once properly installed, the units were gradually inflated to generate controlled buoyant force.
As the buoyancy increased, the vessel was gently lifted until it reached a stable floating position slightly above its normal draft level. This allowed maintenance teams to perform hull cleaning, propeller inspection, and minor structural repairs without removing the boat from the water.
The entire maintenance process was completed within several hours, significantly faster than the traditional dry dock method. The boat operator reported reduced downtime and lower operational costs.
